Belden 6543FE Multi-Conductor - Commercial 22/4P FLRST FS FLRST Natural

This 22 gauge 4 pair conductor security and sound cable is rated as CMP which stands for Communications Multipurpose Cable, Plenum. This means that this cable is used to be installed in plenum spaces which are open spaces above the ceiling or below the floor. Since they are installed in spaces where air circulates they are designed to be made of material that does not release toxic smoke if caught on fire and will self extinguish. Therefore the insulation and jacket is made of Flammarest which is a plenum rated PVC material that produces less smoke and flame when burned. The Beldfoil shield, made of an aluminium/polyester laminate provides a 100% coverage for added protection. Some applications for this cable include: security system, intercom/PA, and audio/speaker.
