Belden 3105A Multi-Conductor - EIA Industrial RS-485 PLTC/CM 22/1P TC DATALENE/PVC SHLD

This 22 gauge 1 twisted pair conductor meets the standards of EIA which stands for Electronic Industries Alliance. It has a Datalene insulation that is made of a FHDPE or Foam High Density Polyethylene material and a PVC jacket with a Beldfoil shield plus a braid. The special formulated Datalene insulation is used for computer and data transmission. It is lightweight, performs well in a large range of temperatures and is resistant to pressure. The Beldfoil shield, made of an aluminum/polyester laminate, provides a 100% coverage for protection. In addition to this shield there is a braided tinned copper shield with 65% coverage and a 22 gauge stranded tinned copper drain wire. Some applications for this cable include: video, factory or process automation, and data communications.
