Description
Belden 29502 is a multi-conductor motor supply cable for AC motor drives, as well as VFD (variable frequency drives). A 12 gauge cable with 4 tinned copper conductors (3 65x30 stranded and a ground wire), the 29502 is flexible with tough PVC jacketing and XLP insulation. It's also rated to 1000V.
Designed specifically for tough environments, the 29502's 12 AWG 65x30 stranding make it best-suited for installations where moderate disturbances for regular maintenance are likely. Tinned copper conductors prevent against corrosion, while a full-size insulated ground wire allows for lower resistance.
XLP insulation is a thicker, industrial-grade feature, providing low capacitance to extend motor life, reduce voltage spikes, the likelihood of corona discharge, and ensure efficient power transfer over the life of the cable.
Overall Duofoil® provides 100% coverage consisting of an aluminum-poly- aluminum laminate wrapped around the cable’s dielectric core, improving shield reliability and flex life, while an additional tinned copper braid shield provides 85% coverage.
