Description
Belden 29501 is a multi-conductor motor supply cable for AC motor drives, as well as VFD (variable frequency drives). A 14 guage cable with 4 tinned copper conductors (3 41x30 stranded and a full size ground wire), the 29501 is flexible with tough PVC jacketing and XLP insulation.
Designed specifically for tough environments, the 29501's 14 AWG 41x30 stranding make it best-suited for installations where moderate disturbances for regular maintenance are likely. Tinned copper conductors prevent against corrostion, while a full-size insulated ground wire allows for lower resistance.
XLP insulation is a thicker, industrial-grade cross-linked poly. It provides low capacitance for extending motor life, reducing voltage spikes, the likelihood of corona discharge, and ensuring efficient power transfer over the life of the cable.
